1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WedMap at wedmap.wedding (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WedMap is a free wedding planning application that provides tools for seating charts, guest management, RSVP tracking, floor plan design, budget planning, wedding website creation, planning checklists, and collaboration. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

3. User Accounts

You may sign in with a Google account or create an account with email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must provide accurate information when creating events and managing guest data.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create through the Service, including event details, guest lists, seating arrangements, floor plans, budget data, and wedding website content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

• You have the right to use and share any content you upload
• Guest information you provide is accurate and shared with appropriate consent
• Your wedding website content does not violate any laws or third-party rights

5. Email Communications

The Service allows you to send RSVP reminders, confirmations, and save-the-date emails to your guests. You are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate consent to email your guests. You agree not to use the email features for spam, marketing to third parties, or any purpose unrelated to your event management.

6. Collaboration

You may invite collaborators (partners, wedding planners, friends) to assist with seating arrangements. You are responsible for managing collaborator access and reviewing any changes they propose before applying them to your event.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload malicious content or code
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

8. Public Wedding Websites

If you publish a wedding website, the content will be publicly accessible via the generated URL. You are solely responsible for the content displayed. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

9. Pricing

WedMap is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or plans in the future. Any existing free functionality at the time of such changes will remain accessible to current users.

10. Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WedMap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, lost profits, or damages resulting from errors in guest management or email delivery.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but these terms continue to apply to your prior use.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
